Day 59 ~ Olympic Endings ~

What an exciting hockey game tonight as the USA took on Canada. I snapped this picture as the game went into OT. However... I will say that Canada ended up with the Gold. I'm not at all upset with this, although I'd have loved to see USA grab it. BUT... our OWN Sidney Crosby (PITTSBURGH PENGUINS) made that winning goal!

Day 57 ** Cookies! **

So... yesterday one of my students had such a lovely surprise for me! Yepper! It's Girl Scout cookie time! Yum!

** There were 3 boxes... I'm ashamed to say that the Samoas are no longer with us...

My kids had such a great time with Civil War Sallie... They wrote scripts, took on roles of Lincoln, Union and Confederate soldiers... and became little actors in front of the green screen! Can't wait to see the video!

We learned about Lincoln... Did you know he kept letters in his stovepipe hat? What would you keep in your stovepipe hat??

Today my students were so excited to see a box delivered to our classroom... and inside was CivilWarSallie! Yay! They can't wait to learn about Lincoln!

Day 38 ^^Nest^^

The boys wanted me to take a pic of this nest way up in the tree in the backyard. And of course then they wanted to try to shimmy up the tree to knock it down! Got a big fat "NO" on that one!

Day 37 ** S*N*O*W **

We woke up to about 6-8 inches of snow! The boys had a blast sled-riding and playing outside. Here is Jayden's snow angel... He made a "J" in the left wing.

Day 36 -- Bagels --

Hehe... this was the conversation that inspired the pic...
Ms. B- "Zach, why are you still wearing your winter boots. Change back into your regular shoes"
Zach- "I can't, there's some bagel thing on the bottom"
Ms. B- "What? Let's see it. I doubt it's a bagel"

And... the pic was taken as I stifled LMAO thinking about his bagel comment. :)

** And... it was definitely food of some sort... pretty sure it wasn't a bagel though!

Day 35 # 100 #

Happy 100th Day... I'll be okay if I don't see another Fruit Loop or Apple Jack for the rest of the year! :P

It's that time... and even though they can't win and have given up all of their good players... we still go every Sunday for kid's day! Looking forward to another year of baseball at PNC!
