Today my kiddos went on a fossil hunt! They had so much fun!

Day 68 -- Fossil Eggs --

Coffee, salt, flour, sand, water, MIX, MIX, MIX! My house reeks of coffee tonight!

Inside each little 'fossil egg' is a little plastic dinosaur. My first graders will be Paleontologists this week, as they locate their fossil egg, break it open, and begin researching the dinosaur inside. It's always an exciting time in first grade!

Day 65 ~ Carnegie~

I took the boys to the Carnegie Science Center today. We had a great time! Afterwards, I took them for their first trip up & down the Duquesne Incline. I took this pic from the look-out at the top of Mt. Washington.

Ok... I couldn't resist this one. I was in line checking out today, and happened to glance over at the shelf... and this is what I saw. And... I may be the only person who didn't realize these were made, but really? A snuggie for a dog??? Too flippen funny!
